After taking a long break from fishing Black Point, it was nice to see all the activity in the water this past weekend. The annihilating effects of the cold snap really effected the area, and it was sad to see all the big boys dead along the rocks afterward. I tried fishing a couple times, but nothing was happening. I then just went back out and canoed just North of Black Point Marina, and the activity was unreal. It was high tide, just before noon, overcast and windy, and the fish were hopping.
